A Celebration of Lily
This time of year has always been Frenzy Art’s busiest time, so we never had the time (or energy) to build an alter; but just about a month ago, Lili, a dog Chris rescued 6 years ago, passed away. Chris and I decided that we would make the time to build an altar this year to honor the life of Lili.
We started out with an old beat-up ammunition box that Chris found at a local rummage sale. He had bought it a couple of weeks earlier with no idea of what he was going to do with it, but it turned out to be the perfect base for our altar. Decorated with bright paint, lots of shiny baubles, and objects that Lily would have liked or that symbolized her unique qualities completed the altar.
