This is a belated note on the death of Yvonne DeCarlo. I know that she was a famous actress and played many other parts, but for me she is Lily Munster. She is one of the reasons that what most people consider “monsters” don’t fill me with dread. She was a vampire, a vampires daughter, and wife of a monster, yet she was never horrific. She was kind, gracious, beautiful and motherly and her presence will be missed.
