I just thought I would give you a preview of one of the new prints we are releasing in 2006. “El Vaquero” shows a cowboy practicing his roping skills in the Texas desert. Surrounded by cactus and standing underneath a bright shining sun, he’s even got a skeletal snake that appears to be keeping him company. Of course the whole thing is done in my traditional Day of the Dead style.
Apparantly the move back to Texas agreed with me. I’ve been wanting to do a day of the dead cowboy for sometime, but being back in my home state inspired me.
He will be available early next year, as a limited edition print and as one of our new skull art cards.
