We just did the Batfest that was held on Congress Bridge over the labor day weekend here in Austin. We had a great time. It was hot – fortunately there was cloud cover and even some rain on Sunday, but that didn’t dampen the mood of the Batfesters.
Frenzy Art was there with our art – we sold plenty of our Day of the Dead prints and Day of the Dead greeting cards. There was a run on our Calavera wine goblets – which is always nice. I did explain to a few people about my Day of the Dead art, but it was a pleasant surprise the amount of people who know and understand about the Dia de los Muertos. We did get some ideas for new items to add – I had quite a few people asking about postcards – hmmm.
